Mens sana in corpore sano, says Latin quote, and we should believe. A healthy lifestyle is a prerequisite  for having a healthy body and strong mind,  indeed. On the other hand, a good looking body is frequently tightly related to self-esteem and self-confidence to your mind (although it shouldn’t always be the case). But both, fit body and self-confidence are the musts for every celebrity. A famous life brings many conveniences and good memory that a non-famous person could only dream about, but a famous face also brings many disadvantages. It is a big pressure to look great each and every time you cross your doorstep, and to feel strong and healthy the whole year, don’t you think? So, they have to workout on the daily lifestyle basis, and a lot of them use an old good treadmill (even though they have personal trainers on the phone and fitness equipment in their homes) to keep themselves in a good form. Why? Because cardio training can do a lot of good for the overall health and strength of your body, it can make you have more energy for all daily responsibilities – and that is what celebrities need. Who are those famous people who share with us their love for treadmills? And how they motivate themselves (and us too)?

Who runs the world? She does, apparently. Queen B is one of the best-looking women in the world, she is all-natural kind of woman, both beautiful and talented. But we have to admit, one of the biggest reasons Bey stole our hearts is her absolutely irresistible self-confidence. She looks stunning, and she knows it! Did it take a lot of sacrifices? Well, of course. She, just like every other woman needed to accept her appearance before she learned to love it. “Everyone is not supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you, you,”said B. The discipline is one of the things you should learn, and it actually might be more important than good genetics. This star is a runner from her early age: “I would wake up in the morning and my dad would come knocking on my door and tell me it’s time to go running. I remember wanting to stop but I would push myself to keep going. It taught me discipline.” And look how it was worth! Bey confirmed that she runs and sings at the same time, so she would be able to perform without getting tired and exhausted. Also, she confirmed that she runs on her treadmill while the picture of Academy Award is close enough in the room so she can catch it with the eye from time to time, and so she can have it in her mind. We all need a good motivation, are we?

Tyra can be a big inspiration for young girls who are struggling with weight issues because this beautiful supermodel had the same problem herself. How did she do it? She certainly didn’t try some crazy diet, because no one succeeded to build the healthy life while starving themselves. She accepted her curves when there was no designer who would accept her – “When she walked down the (Victoria’s Secret) runway, she was bigger than all the other girls. She hid the body parts she didn’t want to show, and she rocked it“, said Heidi Klum, a former model. Self-confidence is really something, isn’t it? But self-discipline is also a necessity. Beautiful Tyra says that her secret is in the entertaining. It is a lot easier to run while you are watching your favorite TV show. This supermodel is on her treadmill while watching Sex and the City. Nice idea, Tyra!

Rachel from Friends is pronounced for 2016’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman by People. She is always so fit and thin, isn’t she? This is her secret for treadmill workout: Crank the incline! It will save your time and burn more calories. Also, it will strengthen the lower part of your body: the hips and legs, so you will feel much more balanced. Jennifer says that in this way you can maximize your time on a treadmill, and get the better results faster. She is combining her treadmill cardio training with yoga, and she goes to a gym every day for an hour. Here is how she motivates herself: “Bite the bullet. Just bite the bullet and do it. Think of a wonderful pasta or Mexican meal that you want to have on the weekend and dangle that in front of you like a little carrot.”

Oh, my! Bridget Jones never looked this hot! The star who stole our hearts in this rom-com trilogy has actually a running addiction, and she happily admits it. She runs from three to six miles on her treadmill on the daily basis! While running, she is watching TV (mostly CNN). One thing we should learn from Zellweger is that everything is possible if you try hard enough! She gained the weight three times for the role of BJ, and she succeeded every time to get back in the shape. Nice job, Renée!

50 Cent made us realize that actually IS possible to lose weight using a treadmill, liquid-only diet and a lot of will. This guy loose 44 lbs for a role in the movie All Things Fall Apart (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1606390/) running for three hours on a treadmill every day. This is an extreme example (so, please don’t try to lose that much weight if you don’t need) but he got his place on our list because he proved that with a good workout you can accomplish results you want – and not because he dropped from 214 to 160 lbs because, hey, we love 50 Cent just the way he is.

It is so motivating to know that these celebs who look just fantastic in fact use something that is quite affordable and practical. They can prove us that keeping a good shape really isn’t a rocket science. We can all do it if we are persistent and patient. “I know how hard it can be to find the time to get a workout in. But it is important to do it. They key is workout hard and make the most of the time you have,” says Jillian Michaels, a celebrity trainer.   But we shouldn’t forget to take care of our bodies once we’re off of treadmill – a good healthy nutrition is very important. Extremes are not acceptable! You should never starve or on the other hand – eat more than you need because you think it will give you more strength. Find a balance, and never give up – be sure Beyonce never would!
